Synopsis

Growing up in the shadow of her beautiful and outgoing younger sister, Berta deliberately chooses a life of rigid seriousness to set herself apart. As the years pass, her resentment builds a wall between the two women that threatens to last a lifetime. Berta must eventually confront her own bitterness and decide if she can find her own worth without comparing herself to others.
