Synopsis

Grief-stricken after a personal tragedy, Alec Ramsay and the Black Stallion retreat into the Arizona desert to find peace. Their isolation is broken when they encounter a tribe whose ancient legends speak of a rider on a black horse arriving at the end of the world. When a strange disaster strikes from the sky, Alec must decide if he is the hero the prophecy demands.
