Synopsis

A committee of high school students, guided by guest editor Adam Johnson, curated this collection of essential writings from literary magazines, chapbooks, graphic novels, and articles. Featuring diverse narratives like an elephant hunt, the fall of a reality-TV star, and a walk through Ethiopia, this anthology explores what Johnson calls "the most important examinations in life." It offers a compelling look at contemporary American prose, wit, and humor.
