Synopsis

The Beast of Beswick is Amalie Howard's Regency romance retelling of Beauty and the Beast, blended with echoes of The Taming of the Shrew. Lady Astrid Everleigh marries the disfigured, war-scarred Duke of Beswick to save her sister from an unwanted match, and finds herself matched against a husband as stubborn and guarded as she is. Sharp banter, real vulnerability and a slow-burn marriage of convenience carry a witty, feminist romance that Publishers Weekly gave a starred review.
