Beautifully written, mysterious, full of heart, sad, and occasionally darkly funny.
It's a slasher novel, but at the same time, it has so much depth. Rose is such a beautifully written and developed character and a compelling protagonist.
The story itself was suspenseful and relatively fast-paced.
You'd never think a story about the elderly and taking place in a retirement home could be so good.
I loved everything about this book.
