Synopsis

Four years have passed since the horrors of Don't Fear the Reaper, and Jade Daniels has come home to Proofrock, Idaho, older and more scarred, now a history teacher trying to hold a fragile life together. But a private investigative firm is documenting her every move, the wealthy new Terra Nova residents are dredging up the drowned mining town beneath Indian Lake, and teenagers have begun glimpsing a woman in a white gown moving across the water—the Angel of Indian Lake. Then the bodies start again.

The Angel of Indian Lake is the ferocious final novel in Stephen Graham Jones's acclaimed Indian Lake Trilogy, the culmination of Jade's story as slasher-movie scholar and reluctant final girl. Elegiac and blood-drenched in equal measure, it is a love letter to the horror genre and a reckoning with grief, trauma, and the cost of surviving.
