That Time I Got Drunk and Yeeted a Love Potion at a Werewolf

Brie runs a cheese business in a village that recently gained a pirate ship full of demons as neighbors, and her love life has never gone smoothly. It gets worse the night she aims a drink at her creepy neighbor Jack and misses, hitting a passing werewolf named Felix instead. The wine was laced with a love potion.

Felix's instincts fire before he can stop them, and he declares Brie his fated mate on the spot. She refuses to believe him. A potion can fake devotion just as easily as a real bond can, and she wants no part of a romance she cannot trust, however hard he tries to win her over.

Their standoff stalls when women start disappearing from the village. Felix turns protective, and Brie turns to the friends she made surviving a demon curse in the previous book to help track the culprit. Working the case together forces her to weigh whether his devotion runs deeper than the potion that started it.

This is the second entry in the Mead Mishaps series, a fantasy romance played for laughs and heat in roughly equal measure. The humor stays broad, the pace is fast, and werewolves, demons and a village full of chaos back a romance that has to earn its ending honestly.
