Raised in Michigan, she worked as a high school English and social studies teacher and dance instructor before turning to writing full-time. She began with a young adult novel before moving into romance, publishing her Frenched series starting in 2014. She lives near Detroit, Michigan, with her husband, two daughters, and a pet rabbit.
