Misty's childhood began with her family adopting an Amish-like lifestyle, leading to years of horrific abuse, isolation, and violence on a remote ranch. After being forced into an actual Amish community, she faced continued fear and assault, culminating in an attack by the bishop. With immense courage, Misty escaped to the modern world with little education or identification, determined to break the cycle of abuse and inspire other survivors.
