Synopsis

Daphne Ingleside's London visit with her Aunt Effie takes an unexpected turn when they decide to write Effie's memoirs. As Effie was once a celebrated beauty, many members of the ton fear their past misdeeds will be revealed. The Duke of St. Felix, mistakenly believing the project is a scheme to blackmail his family, finds himself at odds with the clever and beautiful Daphne.
