Synopsis

This collection expands Sue Lynn Tan's Celestial Kingdom duology with nine stories set before, during, and after the events of Daughter of the Moon Goddess and Heart of the Sun Warrior. Two were previously published; seven are original, including an epilogue that closes out the duology. Told from the perspectives of Chang'e, Shuxiao, Liwei, Wenzhi, and others, the tales weave through the past, present, and future of the two novels, illustrated throughout by Kelly Chong.
