Synopsis

Norah Donahue wants bakeries, not babies, but her matchmaking mother refuses to accept it, forever trying to play Cupid at every family gathering. Dean Moser is a cocky stock-market savant whose friends have all paired off, leaving Boulder's most notorious ladies' man on his own for the first time.

When Norah needs a fake date for her parents' anniversary party, her business's newest silent investor is the perfect candidate — low stakes, no strings, purely transactional. To spite her meddling mother, Norah breaks her own rule and kisses Dean in the middle of the party. The chemistry that follows is anything but fake, and mixing business with pleasure starts to look like a recipe for disaster.

Take A Number is book four in the Wait With Me series and reads as a standalone.
