Synopsis

About the author

Shuang-zi Yang is a Taiwanese writer who focuses on historical fiction and stories about relationships between women. Her novel Taiwan Travelogue won the National Book Award for Translated Literature for its look at food and culture in 1930s Taiwan. She lives in Taichung and often uses her work to explore her country's colonial history.
