The concept of Changelings has so much more potential than was explored in this book. I was looking forward to reading the story of a girl who's Mother had tried to kill her because she was a monster, a changeling. I wanted to see the psychological impact on both Wendy and the child she replaced. Instead, I got the story of a spoiled rotten Princess (Yes, she's a troll princess) and her love interests. Oh, and the reason the trolls send their offspring to be raised by humans? Money. I'm going to go run a Changeling: The Lost game so I can tell the story I wanted to read here.
