Sweet on You

After her fiance sabotages her promotion, Darcy Rossetti grabs her cat and drives straight to the one place she's always belonged: her family's peach farm in West Virginia. She plans to spend the summer off the grid, sorting her life out without cell service or complications.

Those plans derail when she recognizes one of the farmhands -- Jake Warren, the cowboy who ogled her at a sports bar back home. Darcy makes herself a bet: stay away from Jake and she can have anything else she wants. Jake has other ideas.

As the summer turns steamy, Jake proves he's sweet on Darcy, and the farm starts to feel like the home she didn't know she needed. But the pressures of the world outside the farm eventually come calling, and one of them has to decide what they're willing to give up for love.

Sweet on You is book one in the Painter Creek series, a spicy small-town romance built on forced proximity, banter, and a slow-burn will-they-won't-they.
