Synopsis

In this sequel to The Buried and the Bound, Aziza, Leo, and Tristan are trying to rebuild their lives after their last battle with the Fair Folk left them scarred, physically and otherwise, and still hiding secrets from one another. When the solstice brings the nomadic Summer Court to Blackthorn to reclaim something Leo isn't willing to lose, Leo strikes a dangerous bargain with the Summer Court's princess and regent.

The deal pulls Coven Blackthorn deep into Elphame, the realm of the Fair Folk, where favors and trades carry real teeth and fae court politics can cost a life. Leo joins the Wild Hunt without fully understanding what he's agreed to, driven only by the hope of rescuing his sister, while Aziza and Tristan race to keep him, and each other, safe.

The Summer Queen is the second book in Rochelle Hassan's Buried and the Bound trilogy.
