Summer in the City

Elle, a screenwriter with a looming deadline and a stubborn case of writer's block, returns to the New York City she swore off — and finds that her new neighbor is Parker Warren, the tech billionaire she shared an unforgettable stairwell encounter with two years ago. They strike a deal: he needs a convincing fake girlfriend to steady a high-stakes company acquisition, and she needs real New York adventures to unstick her screenplay. Neither of them plans on the feelings that follow. A breezy, fast-talking summer rom-com, and Alex Aster's adult debut.
