Summer Sweets relocates to the small town of Reverence to get away from gossip and a broken heart. There she meets Gabe Nash, her brother's friend and a chocolatier, and Dylan O'Brien, a baker and Gabe's business partner.

Both men want her, which strains a friendship the two of them have had all their lives. Rather than making Summer choose between them, the novel asks whether she is willing to have both, and whether the three of them can make that work.

Sugar is the first book in Misti Murphy's Delicious Boys and Sweet Treats series, set in her Reverence universe, and is a steamy MFM menage romance with a comic streak.
