Synopsis

Asher Donovan is widely considered the greatest footballer in the world, but his bitter feud with rival-turned-teammate Vincent DuBois costs their club a championship and lands him in off-season cross-training under an unexpected coach. Scarlett DuBois is Vincent's sister, a former ballerina rebuilding her life around chronic pain, and exactly the person Asher is not supposed to want. Their attraction is forbidden on every count, forcing a secret relationship under the weight of family loyalty and relentless public scrutiny. The first book in the Gods of the Game series moves Ana Huang's interconnected universe to London and the fictional Premier League club Blackcastle FC. Each book's title names its hero's position on the pitch; here, the striker. The series has been optioned for film by Amazon MGM Studios.
