Synopsis

After stepping through the door that called to them both in dreams, Emory and Romie find themselves in the Wychwood, the same world from the in-universe book "Song of the Drowned Gods," now twisted and rotting, and a sinister force has awoken with their arrival. Meanwhile, Baz and Kai are thrown two hundred years into the past, where they meet Cornus Clover, the author of that very book. As their fates entangle with his story's characters, the group must navigate unreliable narratives, fractured friendships, and moral ambiguity, unsure who among them is fated to be hero or villain.
