I usually like the age gap trope but this one felt… wrong. The way he expressed how much he liked her innocence and virginity was unsettling. I don't have a problem when the younger person is independent, strong and has more experience in these types of books but Lara was like a newborn baby with Stockholm Síndrome.

The story was okay, I was expecting a little more of the ending and the mystery of who Lara was and why she was haunted was very plain.
