I have to say this is probably my favorite read so far in the series! It is very well written and this is my first time reading a book that touches on the early-onset Alzheimer’s disease. I know so little about it but I get the idea of it and boy it broke my heart.

Beck is being dead set on not finding happiness in the term of romantic relationship after seeing what happened to his mom. The thought of being a burden to his life partner if one day he ends up like his mother and just forgets all the memories that he shared with his life partner stops him from looking for it. I understand his point of view and I understood it even more at that one part before everything is resolved.

Jensen is literally looking like someone who could kill you, but is a cinnamon roll. She is on her journey to build her life again after finishing her apprenticeship at the suck ass tattoo parlor that done her very dirty. She is learning how to love someone without trying to change them because that was what happened in her last relationship, that was what happened to her, but at the same time she wants to focus on her career at the moment.

The way I SOBBED AT 5AM ALONE IN MY ROOM BECAUSE OF IT WAS NOT IN MY BINGO CARD 😭😭😭😭 what do you mean all of that happened???? Ughh I love this book so much. It has everything that I need in a book. A flirty banter? Checked. A little grovel? Checked. A supportive dad? Checked. Adoption as a choice? CHECKED.
