Frequently asked questions

  • Do I need to read the first book in the series before this one?

Reading the series in publication order provides the best experience because character relationships and ongoing developments carry across the volumes. While each book contains a self-contained plot, starting with the first entry helps establish the family dynamics and the context for the recurring threats that appear in this story.

  • Are these books available in collected editions?

The first three books of the series, including this one, were compiled into a single volume titled Jedi Shadow. This collection is one of several omnibus editions released to group the individual novels together.
