This novel is the sixth installment in a nine-part series and relies heavily on the established character arcs and plot developments from the preceding five volumes. It is not designed to be read as a standalone entry.
The series was written by three different authors who collaborated to maintain a shared narrative arc across the nine books. While each author brought their own style to specific volumes, the overarching plot was developed as a collective effort.
An abridged audiobook version narrated by Marc Thompson was released concurrently with the print editions of this novel.
