Synopsis

A vast fortune in dilithium crystals is discovered on the planet Direidi, sparking a tense contest between the Federation and the Klingon Empire. Under the terms of the Organian Peace Treaty, the planet will go to the side best able to develop its resources. Captain Kirk and the Starship Enterprise represent the Federation, while Captain Kaden vestai-Oparai and the Fire Blossom contend for the Klingons. However, the Diredians have their own surprising plans, leading the Enterprise crew into an unexpected and strange adventure.
