Synopsis

Alexia Tarabotti is a Victorian spinster with a unique problem: she has no soul, a condition that allows her to nullify the powers of any supernatural being she touches. When she accidentally kills a vampire who attacked her, the burly and abrasive werewolf Lord Maccon arrives to investigate on behalf of the Queen. Alexia must navigate high society scandals and a growing conspiracy while dealing with her inconvenient attraction to the man sent to watch her.
