Synopsis

John Taylor makes his living finding lost things in the sunlit part of London — a gift born from his childhood in the Nightside, a square mile of the city where it's permanently three in the morning and anything is possible. When a wealthy woman named Joanna Barrett hires him to find her runaway daughter, the trail leads exactly where Taylor swore he'd never go again.

Forced back into the Nightside to save the girl, Taylor confronts old allies, older enemies, and a threat far larger than one missing teenager. Simon R. Green opens his long-running Nightside series with pulpy, high-energy urban fantasy steeped in noir atmosphere.
