I don’t think this was a productive read for me. I haven’t learned much and most of the concepts talked about, I was already familiar with. My biggest problem though is how condescending the author was. I wanted to talk about race but she wanted to shove her ideology down my throat. So, I don’t really recommend it to anyone. I did however enjoy chapter eleven: why can’t I touch your hair?
