Synopsis

Sloane Parker is dreading her birthday. She feels stalled in her life and numb in her marriage to a husband who keeps cheating, and she can't quite remember the last time she wanted anything for herself. So when her fierce, glamorous best friend Naomi surprises her with a weekend getaway, Sloane goes along, expecting little more than wine and distraction.

Instead, Naomi steers them into a wild night out with a group of magnetic strangers — a night that ends with Sloane and Naomi changed forever, in ways that come with eternal, bloody consequences. Now the two friends have to figure out how to live with what they've become, what it costs, and what, if anything, it frees them from.

Rachel Harrison's So Thirsty is a seductive, darkly funny vampire novel about friendship, dissatisfaction, and hunger of every kind. Beneath the blood and the comedy is a sharp story about women at midlife refusing to keep quietly settling for less than they want.
