Synopsis

Actor Lincoln Edwards travels to South Africa to check on his friend's struggling racehorses. He quickly finds himself in grave danger, surviving two murder attempts. Now, trapped and facing a third, Lincoln must figure out who wants him dead and why before it's too late.

Dick Francis (1920–2010) was a British steeplechase jockey turned crime novelist. Born in Coedcanlas, Pembrokeshire, Wales, he served as an RAF pilot in the Second World War before becoming one of Britain's leading National Hunt jockeys, riding over 350 winners and serving as jockey to Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother — most famously aboard Devon Loch, which collapsed within sight of victory in the 1956 Grand National. After retiring from racing in 1957 he became a journalist and then a novelist...
