Synopsis

In a future where America has disarmed itself, a technologically advanced Asian government swiftly conquers the nation. A desperate last stand is mounted by a secret laboratory that has achieved a major scientific breakthrough, but an experiment gone wrong leaves only a handful of survivors. A reserve intelligence Major, an advertising executive by trade, must rally the remaining scientists and use their newfound, almost magical technology to organize a resistance and fight for the nation's freedom against a ruthless regime.

Robert Anson Heinlein (1907-1988) was an American science fiction writer, born in Butler, Missouri. He graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1929 and served in the Navy until 1934, afterwards studying mathematics and physics briefly at UCLA.
