Synopsis

Vanessa Sands is trying to get over her fear of the ocean while vacationing in Winter Harbor, Maine, when her older sister Justine goes cliff-diving after a family argument and washes ashore dead. Certain her sister's death was more than an accident, Vanessa teams up with her boyfriend Simon to investigate — and uncovers that Justine had been keeping secrets, that Simon's brother Caleb has gone missing, and that a series of water-related deaths along the coast are leaving male victims washed ashore with an unsettling grin. Vanessa's search for answers leads her toward the legend of sirens and the discovery that everything she believed about her family was a lie.
