I really enjoyed this book. I remember getting frustrated with Amy and Roger's Epic Detour. It's clear from this book that Matson has grown as a writer. The story is more compelling, and I liked how the story focused on the mystery surrounding Emily's best friend, Sloane, rather than making it about some mysterious boy.
