I liked that it felt more like her first books and I enjoyed most of it. I was in love with the dogs and their little matching bows. It became a little tedious after a while, maybe it was a little longer than it needed to be but I think it’s because for me the series have gotten to the point where the stories and the characters feels repetitive and I even waited a month after its release to read Silent Lies so that I could get a break from the previous ones. I don’t think it’s at the same level as book one and two but It was fine, nothing special or new, but if you’re not binging all the books it could be a better and more unique experience.
