First things first: I can't believe the ending twist, completely unexpected, mind-blowing... Gillian Flynn proves once again her mastery of female psychology and torments.
Second, this book deals with cutting (self-harm) it doesn't make it sensational or gory, it's honest, simple, Camille explains the why's and how's, so if anyone needs a dive into a cutter's mind, this book might help. Like I pointed out, Gillian is a master of the torturous mind of females.
Finally, this book is a page turner, once I started I couldn't stop, it's so well written, the plot well woven, the characters have layers, nothing is superfluous here. I'm glad I gave it a go, though I was reluctant to read it at first.
