Shamanborn 3

Calling of Light closes out Lori M. Lee's Shamanborn trilogy. A tenuous peace has settled over Evewyn now that King Meilek has ended his sister's oppression of the shamanborn, but Sirscha comes home to rumors that she murdered the queen and unease over her new role as the king's Shadow. Tensions between shamanborn and ordinary citizens haven't cooled, conflict is building at Evewyn's borders, and the Soulless is still out there, gathering strength in the Dead Wood. Sirscha has to destroy it before its hunger for souls consumes everything, in a conclusion that pushes her found family and her magic to their limits.
