Seven Days in June
Eva Mercy, a successful erotica author and single mom, finds her life upended when Shane Hall, a reclusive literary giant, reappears. Twenty years after a passionate week together, they meet again in Brooklyn, stirring up old feelings and buried secrets. Over seven days, they must confront their past and decide if a second chance at love is possible, even as Eva questions her trust in the man who once broke her heart.
Eva's precocious teenage daughter.
Eva's book editor and close confidante.
Seven Days in June (2021) stands on its own. Author Tia Williams later published a YA companion novel, Audre & Bash Are Just Friends (2025), which follows Eva's daughter Audre and is set in the same world, but Seven Days in June can be read independently.
The audiobook is narrated by Mela Lee, who voices both Eva and Shane's perspectives.
