One of the more unique books I've read, it transcends genres and endears you to it's cast of characters and their increasingly difficult journey. If not for a slight detour I had already planned in what is to be my next read, I would for sure be barreling into the second book of this series immediately. I'm quite shocked this book is still relatively flying under the radar, as I'd be hard pressed to believe a negative review of it.
