Synopsis

Say It Again is the fifth and final novel in Catherine Bybee's First Wives series. Sasha Budanov has spent her adult life as a protector-for-hire, always moving, never settling. When she returns to Richter, the strict German boarding school where she was raised and trained in the arts of survival and combat, she is forced to confront a past she has spent years running from.

At Richter she meets AJ Hofmann, whose sister was a former student and recently died under circumstances that don't add up. AJ has questions, and so does Sasha, once she realizes several other Richter alumni have died in the same period. As the two dig into the school's history, they uncover secrets the institution has guarded for decades — secrets tied directly to Sasha's own unexplained childhood.

The investigation pulls Sasha and AJ together as much as it pulls them into danger, and the book closes out the First Wives series by tying Sasha's story to the family of women readers have followed across the previous four books.
