Synopsis

To the Codicían colonizers of Aynila, she is Sister Maria, a devoted servant of the church. In secret, she is Lunurin, a stormcaller and chosen daughter of the goddess Anitun Tabu, hiding from witch hunts while protecting her found family — her lover Catalina and Cat's younger sister Inez — inside the convent walls. When a devastating discovery threatens to tear that family apart, Lunurin turns to Alon Dakila, heir to Aynila's most powerful house and a man who has loved her for years, setting off a chain of events that awakens her goddess's fury. Torn between duty, love, and vengeance, Lunurin can no longer contain the storm building inside her — or the one Anitun Tabu intends to unleash on everyone who stands in her way.

Gabriella Buba opens the Stormbringer series with a colonial-era fantasy steeped in Filipino myth, forbidden love, and a goddess's righteous rage.
