The book was okay. Not that I like it so much or dislike it very much-- just average, for both plot and characters as well as for the development. I did enjoy it, but some scenes were too plain and few were unexpectedly good (that I like it a lot), and part of it was just fine. I don't fancy Audrey's character that much-- she sometimes annoyed me and was terrible in some of her behaviors, her words and the lie especially with no specific reason at all. It was a fast-paced, an easy read but quite dramatic. It plays with emotion and I somehow love how the author portrayed the fragment of anxiety and mental health issue. I didn't expect the twist was something like that, and of what had happened to Freddy was a shock to me cause I like Freddy's character a lot. The different personalities of all the characters were the colors of Sad Girls, on how Audrey dealt with her inner problem was a sweet matured move too (I like the part she house-sitting and met Gabe). A soul-stirring, a plot written when you missed someone.
