These next two books were my favorite thus far. (Also read these together so will review together 🫶🏻)

Okay so first I feel that we truthfully need to discuss the cover. How GORGEOUS have all these covers been?! They intrigued me before I even read a word. I’m very much a “judge a book by its cover” type of person so the covers on all of these books gripped me immediately.
Next-Seth and Scarlett’s relationship. Y’all have no idea the amount of times I did a dreamy sigh while reading. 😂 he cares so deeply for her and I am pretty sure he’s my new book boyfriend. Just sayin’. Yall can have your Zade Meadows, I have me a SETH. He is just so protective and sweet and perfect for Scarlett. After everything they’ve been through, both of them deserved the love they received from each other. I can’t think of anyone more deserving in a book than these two!
Both of these characters are seriously just so amazingly strong, resilient, incredible. They both are unique and true to themselves, and they both offer something for the reader to fall in love with.
I’m trying so so hard to be vague on this one because seriously everything could be such a spoiler. Suffice it to say that Seth and Scarlett are probably the power couple that could get through literally anything and somehow still come out on top.
The ending was also top tier (yet I didn’t want the book to be over either lol) and I am more than ready to read more of Lauren’s work. For someone who is extremely hesitant to read any debut author work, or new (to me anyways) authors, I really really enjoyed these books.

So uh Lauren, more? Please?
