Synopsis

Six teenagers from different schools discover their parents are members of the Pride — a criminal organization of villains who each possess a different power. After the kids learn the truth, they steal their parents' weapons and powers and set out to dismantle the organization and protect each other. As they grow into their roles, they must decide what kind of people they want to become in the wake of their parents' betrayal.

American comic book writer and television producer, born in Cleveland, Ohio. Best known for creating the comics series Y: The Last Man, Ex Machina, Runaways, Pride of Baghdad, Saga and Paper Girls. He began his career as a New York University film student through Marvel's "Stan-hattan Project" workshop, and later worked as a writer and producer on the TV series Lost (seasons 3-5) and as showrunner of Under the Dome. His work has won multiple Eisner and Harvey Awards and two Hugo Awards.
