Dan Wells (born Daniel Andrew Wells, March 4, 1977) is an American author of horror and science fiction. He grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah, and studied English and anthropology at Brigham Young University. He is best known for the John Cleaver series, beginning with I Am Not a Serial Killer, and for the young-adult Partials Sequence, as well as the Mirador series.
