Rosie and the Dreamboat

A Galentine's spa day with her sister was supposed to be relaxing. Instead Rosie Whittaker finds herself sealed inside a malfunctioning flotation tank, and the man who arrives to get her out is a firefighter she can hear but cannot see.

What follows is a courtship conducted almost entirely through a wall: a warm voice, a quick sense of humor, and an increasingly implausible situation. By the time Rosie is free, she has begun to wonder whether the most improbable meeting of her life might also be the most important one.

Rosie and the Dreamboat is a novella-length contemporary romance, part of The Improbable Meet-Cute collection of standalone stories about unlikely first encounters. It can be read in a single sitting.
