Roommaid

Madison Huntington walks away from her wealthy family's business, their allowance and their name. She wants a life she built herself, on a teacher's salary. The plan holds together until it doesn't, and she ends up sleeping on a colleague's couch.

She solves it by becoming a roommaid: free rent in finance executive Tyler Roth's penthouse, in exchange for cleaning it and keeping his dog company. Madison has never scrubbed a bathroom in her life. She is counting on faking her way through before he notices.

Tyler moves in the same circles Madison left behind. He is patient with her mistakes, funny about his own, and quietly insecure under the polish. The job she took for the free rent starts to matter for reasons that have nothing to do with rent.

Roommaid is a contemporary romantic comedy, fast-paced and light on its feet. It follows a woman faking competence long enough to fall for the man paying for the ruse.
