Revenge Cake

Skyler Mason's Revenge Cake opens with Logan telling Leilani he is giving her a month to sort herself out. Lani lives with panic disorder and has grown dependent on the medication that keeps it at bay, and their relationship has curdled around it.

Told in dual point of view and moving between past and present, the novel follows Lani's plan to remake herself and make Logan regret walking away, while the cracks in his own behaviour during their break surface in turn. Both leads are written as flawed and often unlikeable, and the book leans into that.

This is book one of the Toxic Love series, and it deals directly with panic disorder, medication addiction and infidelity.
