Red Knot

On a remote island off the southern Alaskan coast, three teenage girls have vanished and the island's therapist has been found murdered. A storm has cut the island off from the outside world, leaving lead detective Audra to investigate a case that has become deeply personal. Her prime suspect is Valorie, the daughter of a notorious cult leader and the town outcast, discovered blood-covered and dazed at the crime scene with no memory of what happened.

As Audra digs into the island's history, she uncovers older, connected disappearances and murders, and finds that almost no one on the island is who they seem. The investigation forces her to confront the community's buried secrets and the legacy of the cult that once shaped it.
