Synopsis

In 1745 Scotland, against the backdrop of the Jacobite Rebellion and the Battle of Culloden, Serena MacGregor harbors a deep hatred for all things English. When Brigham Langston, an Englishman with supposed loyalty to the Scottish cause, enters her life, Serena finds herself unexpectedly drawn to him despite her ingrained prejudice.
