Synopsis

Gemma Doyle returns to Victorian London for the holidays, trading the strict halls of Spence Academy for high-society balls and the care of her opium-addicted father. Her respite is cut short by haunting visions of three girls and the reappearance of the mysterious Kartik, who warns her of a looming disaster in the magical realms. To protect her world, Gemma must navigate a dangerous hunt for the Temple and face a powerful enemy from her mother's past.
